The growing human population and expanding urban centres greatly increased the energy demand over the past few decades. Use of fossil fuels in generation of thermal power for powering our electricity generation and transportation needs has caused pollution and environmental degradation.
World communities have risen to the challenge to limit greenhouse gases and protect the environment. Technological changes have made it possible to generate energy using solar photovoltic technology and wind turbines.
EDACS is currently active in procurement and implementation of solar photovoltic, wind and hybrid projects.
To increase portion of variable renewable energy mix into the power grid, EDACS is actively working in the pumped storage hydropower sector. Pumped storage projects are presently the most efficient “water batteries” providing storage of energy for its use in meeting the peak demand or grid stabilization.
