Muzizi HPP is a run-of-river high head (450 m) peaking plant located in the East African Rift close to Lake Albert with a 2.5 km headrace tunnel, 430 m long pressure shaft and 1.5 km pipe gallery. A surface powerhouse will have an installed capacity of 47 MW capable to generate 240GWh.
