TRANSPORT AND INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT

EDACS staff provides expertise in construction supervision of roads and transport tunnel
projects. Our services include assessment of excavation methodology, primary rock support,
design of final lining and drainage.
For construction of linear projects such as highways and tunnels, we attempt to minimize
excavation waste by re-utilizing it for construction, and managed deposit areas with minimal
environmental impact and obstruction of natural drainage. Through mountain areas, we design
cut-slopes to be stable requiring minimum maintenance.
Our staffs’ experience includes design and construction supervision of earthworks of ports using
dredged sand consolidating using vibro-floatation and construction of erosion protective
barriers.
EDACS associates with local firms and takes advantage of local knowledge and manpower.
Through these associations and partnerships, global expertise and technology is transferred to
local partners, and projects are always conducted in accordance with local conditions and
economy.
Today, environmental considerations are integrated into the decision process of most
construction projects in rural and conservational areas. It is therefore essential to conduct an
Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) study.
